Wedding Planning Tips.

Make a check list.

Choose a venue- There are lots of great venues for hire you just need to find the perfect on for you!

We have a list of venues on our list and if you contact your local council they will be able to give you a list of city venues. It is also a great idea to ask on a few facebook groups like Married in Perth which offers wedding ideas, support and bridal services.

Find out what equipment is available for you to use including kitchen facilities.

Then you will be able to start a list of items you will need to hire or source elsewhere.

Make a rough plan of the layout to give to any suppliers involved.

Choose what style of catering you want.

We offer a range of menus from cocktail, buffet style sit down, barbeque table service or a mixture of these. Our experienced team will work with you to create a custom menu to suit your needs.

The cake!
We can give you a quote for a custom made wedding cake. All we need is a picture of what you want, how many people it is for, whether it is for dessert or to accompany dessert and what flavour.

Finalise the guest list and send out the invites.

It is best to have the RSVP date for one month prior to the day so that the venue, catering and hire equipment can be organized.

You also need to let your caterer now if there are any special dietary requirements in advance as they usually will not be able to accommodate last minute requests on the day.

The simplest way to find out if any of your guests do have a special requirement is to include a line on your invite that says ‘Please note any dietary needs on the back of your RSVP card.’

Guests can then select from a list of the most common types such as vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and top allergens (soy, tree-nut, milk, etc.).

Once you have the venue, food and cake booked and your invites out you can concentrate on everything else.

Other people to keep in mind are DJ/MC or other music and entertainment, florist, photographer, videographer, dress/suits and makeup, limo/car services, room decoration/set up and any themed facilities such as a cocktail bar, ice-cream bar, photo booth, candy bar ect.
